How to make my vegan almond breakfast cake:
In this recipe, I used applesauce to combine the ingredients and coconut oil for fat. I also added 1/4 cup almond milk and 1/4 almond butter.

|1/2 teaspoon||baking soda|
|3/4 cup||organic cane sugar|
|1/4 cup||coconut oil|
|¼ cup||Almond milk|
|1 teaspoon||almond extract|
|1 cup||Sliced almond|
|1/4 cup||Almond butter|
|½ teaspoon||vanilla extract|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and baking soda. Afterward, you will add the rest of the ingredients, one at a time. Leave sliced almond for last. Fold in sliced almond. Pour batter into a greased 10-inch pan. Sprinkle with sliced almond and bake for 25-30 minutes. Allow cake to cool before serving.
